From Corporate Leader to Transformation Coach: How I Reclaimed My Power & Help Women Do the Same

I’ve Tried It All—Until I Finally Found What Works

I can’t even count how many diets, programs, and challenges I’ve done in the past—only to regain the weight every time.

For years, I thought losing weight had to be hard. I trained as a Nutrition and Holistic Health Coach with the Food Matters Institute, I learned how to cook oil-free with Forks Over Knives, and I knew everything about nutrition—but deep down, I didn’t believe it could work for me unless I pushed myself to the extreme.

I was wrong. Simplicity is the key to success.

When I finally stripped everything back and focused on daily, sustainable habits, my body—and my life—transformed.

The Wake-Up Call: Reconnecting with My Power

One pivotal moment changed everything for me: when I was pregnant with my first child, my doctor asked if I wanted to be followed by a midwife or an OBGYN.

I didn’t even know I had options!

That question sparked a deep realization: I had been disconnected from my own power.

As I researched natural childbirth and rediscovered the incredible strength of the female body, I felt something awaken inside me—a fire, a passion for reconnecting with what is essential, with the innate wisdom of our bodies.

That moment planted the seed for my transformation. But like many women, I still lost myself along the way.

The Struggles Before My Breakthrough

By September 2022, after having my third child, I found myself at 222 lbs. I was trying to regain control of my nutrition, but I was still self-sabotaging—eating healthy all day, only to snack mindlessly in the evenings.

 

2023 was a blur. I was trying everything but getting nowhere. I felt stuck, ashamed of my body, and disconnected from my own journey.

 

One major change happened, though: my husband and I quit drinking, initially thinking alcohol wasn’t helping my weight loss. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.

 

By Spring 2024, everything clicked. My husband left on a month-long business trip, and I had to take our big puppy on daily walks. Turns out, I needed those walks just as much as he did. I never stopped moving since.

 

That’s when I stopped overcomplicating things and focused on simple, powerful habits:

🥗 50% veggies on every plate

🥔 25% carbs—I carried purse potatoes everywhere

💪 Strength training: 20 min, 3x a WEEK

🚶‍♀️ 5K extra steps daily

🚫 Oil-free cooking, minimal snacking

 

By June 2024, I was 202 lbs. Today, I’m 153 lbs, still heading toward my goal of 140 lbs—but for the first time, I know I will get there.

 

Why? Because my lifestyle is sustainable. My habits are automatic. And I love moving my body—it’s no longer a chore, it’s who I am. ❤️
